(Bloomberg) — Most of areas in Espirito Santo, the top producing state of this beans variety, got beneficial rains on Feb. 7 alleviating crop conditions, Celso Oliveira, a meteorologist at Somar Meteorologia in Sao Paulo, says in telephone interview.

• Precipitation continues in the coming days, with accumulation seen between 30mm (1.18 inches) and 50mm
• NOTE: Robusta-coffee crop yields probably declined after below avg rains and scorching temperatures in Jan.
• Arabica-coffee regions which were under dry conditions, including Zona da Mata, got beneficial rains this week
o In the coming days, Zona da Mata may get 50mm-70mm
