WORLD COFFEE PROSPECTS

Hot weather and limited rainfall depletes soil moisture for developing
coffee in Brazil.
The harvest is ongoing in Mexico and Central America.
Scattered showers and more seasonal temperatures in coffee areas of
southern Indonesia at this time. Rain is needed following the typical dry
season in the area.
Prior rain in key growing areas of central Vietnam is reported to have
impacted the harvest. The region has turned drier again more recently. Dryness
during the growing season may have limited development of this coffee crop.
